Jogless Stripe

I love Stripes! The more colors the better. You can really make a project your own with fun stripes. When you are doing stripes in a round you will get a little jog or jump in the color and color change isn’t really smooth. Using the jogless stripe technique will get rid of that and your project will look perfect.

  • Change colors by knitting the first stitch of the new color as normal and  knit the rest of the stitches to the end of the round
  • Before you start the next round grab the first stitch of the old color (or in other words the stitch below) purl wise and slip it onto the left hand needle
  • Continue to knit every stitch as usual

Videos always help me!
